She sits
Waiting for someone
To speak, to save her
From what she is
From what she grew into
Everyday
She sits
Disappointed
Sorrowful and hopeless
As another day goes by
And more hours are lost
Everyday
She sits
Alone.
In her mind
She is but a shell
How is she to speak
How is she to ask
For help?
Everyday
She sits
Waiting.
